How to prevent your resume from appearing on Google or other search engines

Do you only want those with whom you have shared your resume link to see it? Below we will show you how to prevent your resume from being shown on Google or other search engine result pages:

Instructions:
  1. Access your onlineresume.us dashboard by logging into your account with your email and password. If you do not remember your password, you can always recover it.
  2. Once you have logged into your account, you will automatically be directed to the “Resume Settings” page. Here, you must slide the “My resume will be displayed on search engine result pages” button to the left, in order to deactivate it. Make sure that the button is grey, not orange, and that it does not show the “Title” and “Description” fields.
  3. Finally, once you have finished making changes, you should save them so that your resume will be successfully updated. Click on the blue “Save changes” button.
